Sana’a..a fire broke out after gas cylinders exploded in a black market for a Houthi leader
A fire broke out after the explosion of a warehouse belonging to a leader and supervisor HouthiAt dawn on Friday, it led to the closure of Khawlan Street, at the “Al-Thalatheen” intersection, in the Yemeni capital, Sana’a.
Before the fire, a violent explosion rocked the area, according to local sources, caused by the explosion of gas cylinders, in the warehouse of a black market dealer.
According to the sources, the Houthi militia quickly closed the street and prevented the residents from participating in the firefighting process, and they were unable to know the casualties due to the fire or explosion.
Fire engines also rushed to the scene, but they are still mounting.

Khawlan Street is one of the streets that the Houthi militia has turned into a black market for the sale of domestic gas and oil derivatives.
Last month, the same street witnessed a similar fire next to Al-Thawra Hospital, which the sources said at the time was caused by an electrical short, which broke out in a furniture store.
Residents of the capital, Sanaa, suffer from a major gas crisis, as local residents confirmed that trying to obtain domestic gas cylinders is impossible for citizens, in light of the Houthi militia looting these cylinders and selling them on the black market at very high prices.
