Somalia..Al-Shabab attacks and the assassination of parliamentarians
- Al-Shabaab group assassinated “Hussein Adghali”, a member of the election committee for members of the Somali government’s parliament
- Somali forces were killed and wounded after 4 explosions targeted two military barracks
- 3 Somali forces were killed, 6 others were wounded, and a military vehicle was destroyed
Al-Shabaab group assassinated “Hussein Adghali”, a member of the Somali government’s parliament election committee in Yaqshed district inMogadishu
There were also deaths and injuries in the ranks of the Somali forces, after the targeting of two military barracks by 4 explosions in the Tardischi area ofMogadishu
Abdi Hussein Alo, a member of the Somali government’s parliament election committee, was assassinated by a security detachment of the Al-Shabab group in Beledweyne, Hiran State, central Somalia.
Also, 3 members of the Somali forces were killed, 6 others were wounded, and a military vehicle was destroyed, in an ambush set by Al-Shabab fighters on Monday near Brole district, in the suburb of Kismayo city, Juba state, southern Somalia.
Five Kenyan soldiers were wounded and a military vehicle was destroyed after they were targeted by detonating two explosive devices near the town of Raskamboni, located on the artificial border between Somalia and Kenya.
