The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, confirmed in an exclusive interview with Akhbar Alan that the Al-Hasakah events contributed to accelerating the process of targeting the leader of the terrorist organization, Abu Ibrahim Al-Hashemi Al-Qurashi, nicknamed Abdullah Qardash. Abdi said:” I played The rumors within the organization of ISIS played an important role in the arrest of prominent leaders, as there are elements within the organization who provide important confessions and very important information, and our intelligence forces use their own methods to obtain information from within the organization, and this is what helped us target the former leader of ISIS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
stressed Mazloum Abdi indicated that the Syrian Democratic Forces were able to extract important confessions from the terrorists arrested in a prison operation Al-Hasakah He said the interrogation was still going on.” We learned from them the names of the people who were communicating and dealing with them from outside the prison, and Abdullah Qardash had a hand in the events of the Industrial Prison.”
Abdi confirmed that Abdullah Qardash was responsible for all the terrorist incidents in the region: ” Qardash was the governor of Nineveh in Mosul when the massacre was committed against the Yazidis, just as Qardash was an enemy of the Kurds and an enemy of all the inhabitants of the region”
Mazloum Abdi noted in his interview with Akhbar Alaan that the targeting of the leader of the terrorist organization ISIS It was in cooperation with the American forces, and that the Syrian Democratic Forces did not intervene militarily and did not enter Idlib, as their role was limited to logistical and security assistance.
The SDF had earlier arrested an ISIS leader known as Muhammad Abd al-Awwad. Abdi said:” This terrorist revealed to us information about the Al-Sina’a prison attack in Al-Hasakah
This information enabled us to know the plans of the terrorist organization on the prison, but we did not know that they were planning the attack at that time.” He added:”With the force of seven thousand fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces, we surrounded Al-Sina’a prison, so many of them failed to escape, and even those who tried to escape turned back.”
The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, also indicated that After the attacks on al-Sina’a prison in al-Hasakah, and after taking control of it completely, the priority of the Syrian Democratic Forces has become to ensure that such events do not recur and to take the necessary measures to control again these prisoners and their families. Abdi said:” The important question is what will be the future of these terrorist prisoners? We are now negotiating with the countries to which they belong to deport them, and this matter constitutes a big problem because the number of imprisoned ISIS terrorists is very large, and their number is approximately 12 thousand detainees. Not all of them are from foreign countries, among them are Syrians. .”
Inside al-Hasakah prison there were children under the age of eighteen. Abdi said:” We dealt with juveniles carefully and we created an independent prison for these children to separate them from adults. Educational centers must be provided for them to rehabilitate and reintegrate them back into society and at least their detention centers should be separate.”.
Abdi expects other attacks from ISIS, similar to the events in al-Hasakah prison, as he said: “According to the information we got from ISIS elements, they will carry out another attack, as they have more prisoners they want to free, but we have taken more severe measures on the entire prisons and they are under our control now.”
According to The commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, The attack by ISIS on Al-Sina’a Prison in Al-Hasakah in the Ghweran neighborhood was a major operation, and the largest attack was for ISIS, after it incurred military losses in the town of Al-Baghouz, as the organization wanted to reach other goals that it had planned while seeking to start a new era for it in the region, and Abdi confirmed that ISIS was He plans to get the prisoners out and take over the city of Al-Hasakah, to reach Al-Hol camp and control it, to revive his caliphate and announce this to the world.
Al-Hol camp..a time bomb
Description of the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi Al-Hol camp with the ticking bomb, and stressed that it represents a heavy burden on the Syrian Democratic Forces, and is more dangerous than the case of Al-Hasakah prison. He said:”If the ISIS plot succeeded in imprisoning the industry, the terrorist prisoners would have gone to the al-Hol camp.” He added:” I want to point out that in conjunction with the Al-Hasakah events, there were attempts to rebel in the camp, but our forces controlled the situation to avoid dangerous repercussions, and the danger still exists in the camp, as there are ISIS sleeper cells in Al-Hol camp, killing people daily.”
Abdi also confirmed that ISIS seeks to instill its ideas in the minds of the children in al-Hol camp, and the wives of ISIS detainees who are also in the camp are instilling extremist ideas in the minds of their children.
The Iraqis represent half of the camp’s population, about 30,000, and Iraq has to deport its citizens, and this also applies to the rest of the countries. Until the issue of deporting these people is resolved, their countries must bear the responsibility for the camp from a material and political point of view.
