In a statement, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum quoted Tarek El-Molla as saying that “the production map plans to add 450 million cubic feet of gas and 17.2 thousand barrels of condensate, during the next fiscal year,” according to Reuters.
He added that the total investments in research, development and production in the gas sector in Egypt will exceed 1.6 billion dollars during the current and next two years.
