A fisherman disappeared on Saturday off Cape Sines (Setúbal), with searches being carried out by land and sea, a Civil Protection source told the Lusa agency.
A source from the Alentejo Litoral Sub-Regional Emergency and Civil Protection Command indicated that the alert was given at 22:00.
Search operations by land and sea are being carried out by nine operatives, assisted by a jet ski, a lifeboat and a land vehicle from the Sines firefighters.
