Ziyech announces his retirement from the Moroccan national team

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, a Chelsea player, announced on Tuesday that he has made his final decision regarding returning to the Moroccan national team.
Ziyech said, in a press statement on the sidelines of the London team’s training in Abu Dhabi in preparation for the Club World Cup, that he will never return to the Moroccan national team, stressing that it is a final decision.
Ziyech explained, “I certainly feel sad, but my current focus is entirely with my team.”
He continued, “It is all clear to me and I am currently concentrating on what I do with Chelsea.”
Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic had ruled out a star Chelsea From the list of players that will compete in the African Cup in Cameroon.
“The cohesion of the group is a fragile issue, and some bad behavior can destabilize it,” Halilhodzic said when asked about the reason for excluding the player.
“There is a good atmosphere right now and I will not allow anyone to spoil that,” he added.
