His father reveals… this is “Waad El-Neny” before the final of the African Nations

Captain Nasser Elneny told Sky News Arabia: “I spoke with Mohamed after the Cameroon match, and he assured me that the Egyptian team had pledged to win the title, and that all the players were very enthusiastic to present their best levels during the final match.”

And the father of the star of the Pharaohs continues: “We have special preparations to follow the final match, as we put a large screen in one of the squares, and the people of our village will gather in Al-Mahalla Al-Kubra (Al-Nani’s hometown), to watch the match.”

Promise Elneny

The former El-Mahalla municipality player explains that Elneny promised him to score a goal in the Senegal match, “whether Mohamed scored or not, I hope that the Egyptian team will win the title.”

It is worth noting that Mohamed Elneny scored Egypt’s only goal in the 2017 African Nations final, against Cameroon, in the match that ended with the untamed lions winning, with two goals to one.

Reply to criticism

Captain Nasser El-Nini indicates that he always talks with his son in order to develop his skills and transfer his experiences on the field to him, saying: “I spoke with Mohamed about increasing the number of shots on goal, and covering the appearance of the Egyptian team in the case of progress and offensive participation, and he is constantly developing his performance, especially With a great coach like Carlos Queiroz.”

The father of the Arsenal star confirms that he always urges Elneny and the rest of the Egyptian national team leaders to transfer their previous experiences to the emerging players of the Pharaohs team, such as: Mohamed Abdel Moneim, Ahmed Fattouh and Imam Ashour.

Captain Nasser also expressed his great happiness with El Neny’s performance during the tournament, and his response to the continuous criticism directed at him inside the green rectangle.

It is noteworthy that Elneny won the best player award in the match between Egypt and Côte d’Ivoire in the quarter-finals, and received many praises from sports critics for his outstanding performance during the playoffs in general.

Al-Nini’s father concludes his speech by wishing the “Pharaohs” win the title, and that the match ends without reaching the extra games, so that the players of the Egyptian team do not show physical stress.
