The mother of Susana Gonçalves, one of the two fatal victims of the landslide and giant rocks that occurred in November 2022, in Palmeira de Faro, parish of Esposende, released images of the interior of the house after the collapse. The photographs are terrifying and show the “before and after” of the room where, on that fateful night, the young woman slept with her boyfriend, Fábio David, as well as the room of her 12-year-old brother, who miraculously escaped death.
The images were published in a video, on the Youtube platform, whose link accompanies the request for help from Ana Bajão, who created, in early April, as reported by JN, a fundraising campaign to “do justice”. “For us, the most important thing is to determine the causes and responsibilities of what happened. We need good legal and procedural support. At the end of the judicial process, if there are funds that do not need to be allocated to it, the remaining amount will be directed to minimize the costs of repairing the house”, says Susana Gonçalves’ mother, in the text that accompanies the request for help.
Ana Bajão’s goal is to raise 50 thousand euros, however, so far, only 288 euros have been raised.
