The English club said in its statement: “Our player Trezeguet has moved to the ranks of Turkish Basaksehir on loan until the end of the season.”
“Good luck, and we look forward to seeing you again after the end of the season,” the statement added.
Aston Villa coach Steven Gerrard said the loan of Trezeguet was aimed at ensuring that he played basic until he regained his form after injury.
Trezeguet suffered a cruciate ligament injury last season during his team’s match with Liverpool in the English Premier League.
Trezeguet previously played in the Turkish league, with the Turkish club Kasimpasha, before joining Aston Villa in the summer of 2019.
