Turkish Foreign Minister: The President of Israel will visit Ankara in March
He added that it is expected that special representatives of both countries will be appointed during the visit, and the normalization of relations between the two countries will be by taking steps from both sides, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency.
Davutoglu stressed that any step towards normalizing relations between his country and Israel would not be at the expense of the Palestinian cause.
Davutoglu pointed out that the normalization of Turkish-Israeli relations may contribute to strengthening Turkey’s role in reaching a two-state solution, stressing his country’s adherence to some constants and principles, including the two-state solution.
It is noteworthy that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced a few days ago that Israeli President Isaac Herzog will visit Turkey next March, in return, Turkish representatives will be sent to Israel prior to that visit.
Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett revealed the password to improve relations between Turkey and Israel.
Bennett said in his statements that Herzog represents “extraordinary diplomatic value” in order to solve problems with Turkey, referring to the role played by Herzog in diplomatic contacts with Ankara.
On the other hand, the Turkish Foreign Minister stated that it is planned that the Turkish President will visit the UAE on February 14 and 15.
He pointed out that Erdogan’s health condition is very good, expressing his hope that he will recover from Corona until the date of the visit.
He also pointed out that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Turkey soon, but the date of the visit has not yet been set.
